Meet the Author

Beth Anne Nagel grew up in Greenville, Michigan, the youngest of five children. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Spring Arbor University and has served in ministry as a Worship Pastor and Discipleship Counselor.

While studying at SAU, Beth became aware of the devastation experienced by children from trauma. Brokenhearted, she would say, "Someday I'm going to buy a fancy hotel and fill it with children who have been abused and neglected. They will be loved with the love of Christ and treasured beyond measure."

More than a decade later she and her husband, Rich, found themselves in the exceedingly agonizing trenches of infertility and loss. The Spirit brought to mind Beth's college dream of ministering to hurting children. Through much prayer, and the seeking of wise counsel, the Nagel's chose to adopt a sibling group of three children.

After answering the call to adopt special needs children, she chose to suspend her public ministry to serve her family as a homemaker, homeschooler, and homesteader. Beth finds contentment in seeking and serving the Lord-with her devoted husband-as a mom to three children, 40 chickens, 4 cats, and a rather needy dog.

She loves little girl giggles and teenage boy whoops. She appreciates the value of taking a jog at sunrise, savoring a strong cup of coffee, and indulging in a piece of dark chocolate (By herself, in the back of the closet so the children don't hear the wrapper while three miles away from home - IT HAPPENS)!
